D-BOX, feel it all in the virtual world!
Pioneer and world-leader in immersive motion for cinematic art, simulation and training as well as real-time gaming, the D-BOX motion system has the power and precision to complement many virtual reality (VR) projects. It is a storytelling medium that creates unique sensory experiences and allows you to feel like you’re part of imagined places.
With its leadership and expertise in movement synchronisation for movies and its knowledge in telemetry data and motion cues, D-BOX technology supports the narrative of the scenes especially in virtual reality. It can become an integral part of the VR adventure.
The motion chair system from D-box I have to say was a mini revelation for me. Perhaps I’ve been stung by so much 4D cinema gimmickry in the past, but here, the use of vibration and motion feedback in The Martian was sublime, really selling the illusion of physical presence whilst also providing genuinely useful feedback from the virtual world. We’ll hopefully be delving further into D-Box’s technology’s collaboration this and other experiences soon.

Don’t just watch content from virtual reality story, video games and even live events like the Super Bowl. ‘Feel it all’. The hits, the tackles, the zero-G. All with zero lag. D-BOX takes you from the sidelines into the action.
It’s great to see the competing Rift and Vive being used side by side to deliver something worthwhile. Along with the headset, the sound, and the motion controllers, it’s important to point out the effectiveness of the D-Box chair that made Mars seem rough and inhospitable.
